Generally the rule follows something like this:
Browns, dark blues and purples compliment brown eyes
Light brown/taupe and grey compliment green eyes
Grey and deep browns compliment blue eyes
Green, Brown and Black are the best colors for those lucky enough to have hazel eyes
However, if you are looking for something to add a bit of fun or flair this spring consider a new bold color. Or perhaps use the blending sponge on the Bio-Blends Eyeliner pencils to create a dramatic, smokey look. Turn heads by changing colors each day of the week – afterall makeup should be a bit of fun right?
Don’t be afraid to take your eyeliner all the way to the corners of your eyes. It’s best to lightly pull taut your lash line from the outer corner and then apply your eyeliner from the inside corner outwards, staying as close to the lashes as possible. For a thicker line to add emphasis apply a second line directly above the first and blend together. Then add a little wing at the end, being sure to draw in an upward motion.
When choosing eyeliners, be sure you pick one with high quality ingredients that won’t irritate the delicate skin around your eyes. Gerda Spillmann’s Bio Blends Eyeliner Pencils are made with refined, eco-friendly Beeswax.
